Have you ever had that situation; you’re watching a movie in the living room with the light dimmed. Suddenly, your roommate walks in and turns the light bright because he needs to study. Wouldn’t it be great if everybody in the room would be able to adjust the light matching their own preferences?
Systema Luz is the solution. Each light in the room can be individually controlled and set by turning the rings. You have the option to choose up to 4 settings at a time. Each light can then be easily controlled and set to your preferred setting. You can even make your own light groups to allow for easy setting switching. This product allows everybody to have maximum control over the lights in a room.
Systema Luz. Give it a spin and turn the lights around!

Data Dashboard Redesign
Fastforward.ai has a data dashboard that displayed campaign results and data gathered inside the platform. The previous dashboard had a few functions that were not intuitive to interact, only people inside the company knew how to use it. The goal of the redesign is to let also the outsiders (clients) use it intuitively and independently.
My Role
I was in charge of the redesign of the data dashboard. During the process, I firstly did an analysis on the current dashboard, communicated with Data Team and stakeholders to understand their needs, defined the design requirements, defined a design system, designed the experience flow, discussed, and refined the flow iteratively.

The Challenge
The previous dashboard was created to showcase data captured in FF.ai platforms, including organic traffic and campaign results. The performance was functional, but only trained internal people inside the company could use and understand it properly.
Furthermore, it was built by a developer, that it became hard to edit or add any functions because everything was hard-coded. No design system was defined for it either.
Therefore, I needed to re-design the dashboard, by creating a new design system for it, and apply user experience design so that everyone from inside and outside the company can use it intuitively.
The Process
The goal of the Analytics Dashboard is to give the customers a holistic view of how the product is performing. Product performance includes performance of seamless for the campaigns and otherwise, user insights (gathered from seamless and google analytics) and the campaign performances themselves (gathered from seamless, FB Business Manager and Google Ads Manager)
The Analytics Dashboard was meant to be part of the Backoffice (a SaaS platform that can let the clients to use on their own) and will have following major sections:
Summary Page
User Insights
Campaigns Insights
Reports
FAQs
Audit on the Previous Dashboard
I started this project by firstly reviewing the previous dashboard. We use the method of Expert Reviews, to review the problems and ideas we saw in each screen of the previous dashboard. Using sticky notes to add comments.

After the first reviewing using sticky notes, we grouped the feedbacks for each screens/functions, pointing out some crucial usabilities problems.

Moodboard
I further presented the review results to the Data Team and other stakeholders in the company. Communicated the requirements they had to design the new dashboard. Then I made a moodboard to acquire inspirations for the new dashboard.

First Design
The first design was created by myself collabrating with the Data Team, we mapped out the functions that were required in the dashboard.
It was my first time designing a dashboard, it was very different from other designs I had done before. The information need to be put in a compact screens, informatively and visually appealling so that everyone can understand them easily.

Typography and Colors
When I was doing the first version of designs, I set up the typography and colors that would be used in the dashboard.

Function Ideation - Flow Preview inside Dashboard
There was a function that the stakeholders wanted yet I couldn't decide the best option, it was enabling the preview of a campaign flow inside the dashboard under the marketing funnel section. Therefore, I brainstormed 8 ideas how the function could be. I visualized them and wrote down the pros and cons for each idea, then discussed with the stakeholders. After discussion, we eventually decided on the idea number 7.

Final Design
After continuous discussion with other teams, the final design was created. The design elements were more polished, and the interaction were more intuitive than the first version. It got highly positive feedback from the stakeholders. Yet due to lack of development resources, this dashboard was on hold for implementation.
